The RoadX RXFrost Arctic winter tire for passenger cars is designed for use in regions with a truly cold climate. It features improved grip on snow and ice, comfortable handling and stability at high speed, acoustic comfort and a smooth ride.
The asymmetric tread pattern is made in the popular Scandinavian design among manufacturers. The central longitudinal arrow-shaped rib ensures directional stability at high speed, reducing rolling resistance. Massive U-shaped composite blocks with elongated edges occupy the rest of the tread, which, in combination with wide grooves, increase traction and stability on snow. The sipes with saw-tooth edges provide efficiency on more slippery icy surfaces.
